Please do not have us build a boat in the basement for you, it must fit or be dissembled and re-assembled if possible. ... Look for any obstacles or clutter, measure entry ways and consider corners. Furniture can be put on end or go in on angles but it does not bend. Doorways, elevators, stairs, must be measured, pictures on the walls or mirrors may have to be moved, banisters may need to be removed or doors removed from hinges. Please think of it as if you were doing the move.

For entertainment rooms, measure each component twice and consider wires and connectivity. Do know that a 32" or 48" TV is most likely larger than those measurements. You should know the size of your new or future considerations and adaptability. We will not hook up your existing equipment, we will place the furniture for you to be able to do this. Most systems are complicated, if it is a matter of a cable wire, of course we will be happy to oblige. Holes can be done on sight or before delivery so that cords can reach and connectivity can be achieved.

The same applies to bedrooms, a mattress and box spring height affect how high your headboard will be and the floor or slats it will sit on will have to be taken into consideration.You should make sure to consider, windows, closets, heat vents and electric outlets and especially how the doors or access to these affect placement of your pieces.

Please be aware of placing your wood furniture near a wood stove or fireplace or other source of direct heat.  This will cause dryness and this will damage the piece.  The best advice is to control the humidity in your home as much as possible.  If you can, humidify in the winter and de-humidify in the summer.

We do like to help, so any other things you may need moved please let us know in advance. Please consider donating your old furniture to the various needy charities in your local area. In keeping with Wood Wises commitment to the environment non-motorized pieces in good order or if they are able to be easily repaired (at our discretion) will be taken and donated so that the pieces will go to a needy family and not the waste dump.
